In 2002 Gianni Romano founded Postmedia Booksa publishing company based in Milan and focused on the publication of essays on visual culture. We met him at Strozzina Contemporary Art Centre, just before lecture within the Realtà Manipolate series of public talk around the manipulation of reality. Starting from Essays on Photography and Politics by David Levi Strauss, recently translated in italian and published by Postmedia Books, we talked about propaganda, media and photography and about the paradoxical need of images of our society.
