A.I.R.(Altitude Immersive Radio) is the 2018 Signature project of the Programme for Innovation in Artform Development (PIAD), an Arts initiative by the University of the Free State and the Vrystaat Art Festival, generously supported by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Public Art Project (PAP), SITUATE Art in Festivals, Adelaide Tambo Public Library, Australia Council for the Arts, broadcast by MED FM, CUT FM, Mosupatsela FM, Motheo FM.

Julia Drouhin explores the embodiment of invisible soundscapes that reveal friction in sociality and shift usual modes of transmission. Her work using field recordings, electromagnetic frequencies as well as textiles, edible and found objects has been presented in Europe, Hong Kong, Brazil, South Africa and Australia, completed by a Ph.D in aesthetics, sciences and technology about the art of walking and radio in public space (University of Paris 8-France-2011).
