Khaled Hafez

Egyptian artist Khaled Hafez was invited to take part into Manifesta8 in Spain by Chamber of Public Secrets [AKA Khaled Ramadan and Alfredo Cramerotti]. He developed an interdisciplinary multimedia project comprising an experimental video documentary, two radio programs, a performance and three lectures, a set of divers tolls and formats through which he investigates the connections between the European and the Arab cultures, by comparing art practices acress the Mediterranean Sea, by narrating the stories and legacy of two main key-figure of Sufism: Ibn Arabi and Abul Abbass Murci.
