On the occasion of the retrospective dedicated to Francesca Woodman at SMS Contemporanea in Siena, we had the chance to meet Betty and George Woodman, Francesca’s parents and artists themselves: we talked about her interests, her favorite readings, the kind of cultural scape she was nourish herself with. Beside the sweet portrait thanks to which we managed to delve more deeply into her personal life, we invstigated how her legacy influenced the practice of artists and curator.
